The skirt is wrap style, and is made from hemp fabric, woven fabrics, calico fabrics with gorgeous floral and paisley prints, quilt shop fabric I purchased on my last trip back to Australia, and hand-dyed fabrics ( dyed by me!! :) ) !
There is a gorgeous ROSE FAIRY applique that was lovingly hand drawn by me, painted ( using the very highest quality wash-safe fabric paints...hand-washing/using gentle/delicate cycle on machine is recommended for longer garment life ) cut, heat fused, and tightly satin stitched to last. This applique so unique.....prettiest little fairy, and her skirt is a ROSE!!
The skirt has my "V" panel at the front and patchwork at the sides. The "V" comes to a PERFECT point!
There are generous ties and buttonhole fastening to keep the skirt securely around your waist. The skirt has a nice flowly spin without the bulk at the top. It drapes beautifully and covers your curves ever-so-nicely.
I added a double-tiered ruffle tier at the hem. It has my unique scalloped edging and the tiers are done in fabric that was hand-dyed by me in purple. It has slight variations throughout it! So pretty.
The *reversible* bag is made from lovely corduroy and cotton fabrics. It is lined, with a drawstring closure. The bag is accented with leafy decorative stitches. The strap was HAND-braided by me. Both bags match the skirt, but can also be worn with other items in your wardrobe!
