This skirt can worn three different ways! It can we worn so that it is shorter in the front and dips down in the back..or so that it is longer in the front and shorter in the back. Or!!, it can even be worn with the hem diagonal at the front! I made the skirt from many different earthy coloured calico and quilt fabrics..including a few vintage prints. Each and every seam has been topstitched. This adds a wonderful look to the patchwork! The skirt has a sweet little scalloped edged ruffle tier, with my signature scalloped edging hem and decorative heart stitch accents. Elastic/drawstring waistband that ties in the front or back or side, depending on how you wear the skirt. You'll get tons of dancing days out of this versatile skirt!!!
The skirt comes with a matching bag. I made it out of soft cream coloured cotton twill fabric. The bag is lined, and I gave it some leaves and vines appliques on the front. There is a zipper closure with decorative heart stitch accents, and the strap was hand-braided by me.
