This one is for my 'apple scruffs' (how I love you!)
I love this style of dress. The bodice is curtain style...it's narrower and sort of sets above your bust. The skirting billows down over your belly. The bodice is a beautiful light blue-ish green cotton twill and is fully lined. I hand-painted the apple applique on the front. The longgggggg light blue straps lace down the back through 2 sets of green loops for an adjustable fit. Gently gathered skirting is a beautiful vintage apple fabric...it was my grandma-in-law's! The back is a navy-blue cotton. The hem is my signature slanted patchwork tiers and some random patchwork. This dress is adjustable...it has my *ORIGINAL* smocking with lace-up design at the back :) You can wear a strapless bra with this dress if you want to.
