This bag is made from a really soft dark tan/brown corduroy and a dark brown fine-wale corduroy. There is a beautiful butterfly applique on the front of the flap, done in batik fabric. It's been hand drawn, cut, heat fused, and securely satin stitched. The inside of the butterfly was "free-motion" machine embroidered in a rainbow of thread colours....so pretty! Under the flap, there is a patchwork pocket on the front of the bag. Inside the bag there is another patchwork pocket!! The bag has a strong thick strap with decorative stitching for extra prettiness. The ends of the strap have been left raw-edged for a funky look! The bag and both pockets are fully lined with a green and tan striped fabric, and a brown and white leaf print fabric. I made this bag to be very, very durable. Every seam is stitched over two or more times, and also topstitched! The bag can be worn on one shoulder or across the chest.
